I was using an older epson home cinema 720p 3000 lumen lamp projector before I bought this. Thinking I was going to see a night and day difference with a 4000 lumen laser and I was behind let down. The brightness is somehow worse than my old projector. Now I have to pay a restocking fee because I don’t like the product. Very disappointed.
I had an issue with my new AH700ST projector and called indoor golf outlet requesting to return my unit. With their help BenQ sent me a new unit in two days. Ryan did a great job in keeping me updated on this issue.
This is the perfect Golf Sim Projector for a 1080P setup. The ease of setup is awesome. Pretty much plug and play. The projector adjusted itself for hanging upside down from ceiling mount and auto focus/adjusted for screen size perfectly. The crispness of the image is great. Well worth the price tag. I upgraded from a lower lumen (3000) BenQ 1080P projector to this one and the difference was immediately apparent. If you are not going 4K due to cost but want a high end projector for a 1080P setup then this is the best out there and made specifically for Golf Simulators.
