The Impact Sports Impact Screen Patch Kit is an iron-on repair kit for rips and tears in a golf simulator screen or enclosure. It includes one white patch and one black patch, each 16.5" x 11.7", so a single kit covers damage on both the white impact screen and the black enclosure material with a color-matched piece.

Each patch is a fabric sheet with a heat-activated adhesive on the back and a peel-off backing paper. Lay the screen flat, peel the paper, set the adhesive side down over the tear, and press with a steam iron until the patch bonds. The finish is smooth and translucent, so a repaired area on the screen stays out of the way of the projected image.

A patch kit is the alternative to replacing a screen over a single tear. Trim a patch with scissors to match the shape of the damage, iron it on, let it dry, and get the bay back in play. The patches can be cut to fit any golf impact screen or net, not only the enclosure they came from.

What's Included:

  • (1) White Iron-On Repair Patch, 16.5" x 11.7"
  • (1) Black Iron-On Repair Patch, 16.5" x 11.7"

Features

Two Color-Matched Patches
The kit ships with one white patch and one black patch, so the repair blends into the surface it is covering. Use the white patch on the impact screen and the black patch on the enclosure surround.

Iron-On Adhesive Backing
Each patch carries a heat-activated adhesive under a peel-off backing paper, so there is no sewing, glue, or tape involved. A household steam iron does the work.

Four Step Application
Lay the screen flat and find the tear, peel off the backing paper and lay the adhesive side down, iron slowly along the edges until the patch has adhered completely, then reinstall the screen and let it air dry.

Trim to the Shape of the Damage
At 16.5" x 11.7" each patch is large enough for a sizeable tear, and both patches cut cleanly with ordinary scissors so you only cover the damaged area.

Smooth, Translucent Finish
The white patch leaves a smooth, translucent finish on the screen, so a repaired area does not stand out under a projected image.

Repairs the Enclosure As Well As the Screen
The black patch is sized and colored for enclosure material, so the same kit handles a tear in the surround, the side walls, or the roof of a simulator bay.

FAQ

Q: How do I apply a patch?
A: Lay the screen flat and find the tear, peel off the backing paper and lay the adhesive side down over the damage, then iron slowly along the edges with a steam iron until the patch has adhered completely. Reinstall the screen and let it air dry before hitting balls.

Q: Which patch goes where?
A: Use the white patch on the impact screen and the black patch on the enclosure surround, side walls, or roof. Each color is meant to match the material it is repairing.

Q: Can I cut a patch down to a smaller size?
A: Yes. Both patches trim with ordinary scissors, so you can match the shape of the tear and keep the repair as small and tidy as possible.

Q: Will the repair show up in the projected image?
A: The white patch has a smooth, translucent finish and is meant for the white screen surface, so the repair blends into the image. Trimming the patch close to the tear and ironing it flat gives the cleanest result.

Q: Will this work on a screen from another brand?
A: The patches can be cut to fit any golf impact screen or net. If you are patching another brand's screen or enclosure, test the iron on a small, inconspicuous area first and follow that product's care instructions.

Q: What do I need that is not in the kit?
A: A steam iron and a pair of scissors. The kit itself contains the two patches only.

Q: How quickly does the patch kit ship?
A: The patch kit is stocked in an Impact Sports warehouse in the United States, and this listing carries a 7 to 10 day lead time.
