Impact Sports supplies this same covering as the black-out wall cover in their complete simulator rooms, where its job is light control. A dark, matte wall keeps the space around the hitting bay from competing with the projected image, and it gives the room a finished look without paint or paneling.
The felt face is smooth and durable, so it holds up to use around the bay and keeps the drywall and paint behind it protected. Installation is peel-and-stick. Pull the white release liner off the back, press the felt to the wall and the run is done, with no brackets, tracks or fasteners needed for the covering itself.
