The PlaysLike Distance feature lets you know how far each shot is playing by adjusting yardage for the change in elevation from where you are standing. When paired to a compatible device, you can also see the distance from the pin to the front and back of the green directly through the viewfinder.
With the range relay feature on a paired compatible smartwatch, handheld or the Garmin Golf smartphone app, you will see ranged distances on a course map that reveals everything in play. A built-in magnetic cart mount keeps the Z10 within arm's reach while you ride, and a replaceable CR2 battery delivers up to 1 year of play.

Q: Is the Approach Z10 legal for tournament play?
A: Yes. Tournament mode keeps the device conforming for competition, and an external indicator light shows your playing partners that it is enabled.
Q: What battery does it use and how long does it last?
A: The Z10 runs on a replaceable CR2 battery that provides up to 1 year of play, so there is nothing to recharge between rounds.
Q: Do I need to pair it with another device?
A: No. The Z10 ranges on its own. Pairing it with a compatible Garmin smartwatch, handheld or the Garmin Golf app adds range relay, front and back of green yardages and Find My Garmin.
Q: Is the Approach Z10 waterproof?
A: The Z10 carries an IPX4 water rating, so it handles splashes and morning dew. It is not rated for submersion.
