Carl's Place C-Series Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit with Impact Screen is the premier choice for high-end commercial and luxury home golf simulator installations. Offering a seamless, turf-to-screen experience with a borderless bottom, you’ll be fully immersed in your practice sessions. The latest generation has been reimagined to reduce rebound and elevate image quality with a sleek, modern design that keeps installation simple and performance high.
The Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure is offered in 6 sizes and 4 enclosure depths to accommodate virtually any space requirement.
The Carl's Place C-Series Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit gives you the choice between Carl’s Place’s Premium Golf Impact Screen or the High-Contrast Gray Golf Impact Screen, both crafted from durable, three-layer full-impact material designed to deliver exceptional image quality and performance.
New upgrades include a BlackStop™ one-piece knit enclosure with ceiling and sidewalls that darken the hitting area, detachable flaps with hook-and-loop fastener for a clean, professional finish, and foam inserts that fit behind the flaps to prevent ricochets off the frame. The one-piece ceiling and sidewall design streamlines assembly - cutting setup time from around three hours to about two - so you can spend more time golfing and less time building.
Carl’s Place enclosures and impact screens are crafted with top-tier materials and designed for easy installation. Add the optional Pipe Framing Kit for a hassle-free setup, or source 2-inch EMT locally (true outer diameter 2.197″ / 55.8 mm) using the provided cut list.
Please Note: Your Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit does not come with pipe framing. If you do not purchase the
Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kit, you will need to source 2-inch EMT (electrical metal tubing) pipes locally to complete the frame assembly.
What’s Included:
Before purchasing, please view the Specifications tab to confirm that the Overall Enclosure Dimensions for the enclosure size you’ve selected will be suitable for your space.
BlackStop™ One-Piece Knit Enclosure
Carl's Place most durable and premium enclosure surround material that is designed to keep light off your hitting area while enhancing colors and contrast.
Foam Inserts Included
Pre-sized foam inserts positioned behind the flaps protect the enclosure frame from ricochets and reduce bounceback, creating a quieter and safer setup.
Detachable Flaps with Stronger Fasteners
Flaps are now independent from the screen and equipped with a wider hook-and-loop fastener strip that secures hold throughout repeated impacts while preserving a clean, professional appearance.
Redesigned One-Piece Ceiling and Sidewalls
Cutting setup time to about two hours for most installs, the redesigned one-pipe ceiling and sidewalls streamline assembly and feature Carl's signature BlackStop™ material.
Reduced Bounceback System
A premium three-layer impact screen, releasable zip ties, and tensioned bottom cable work together to cushion shots and reduce rebound.
Versatile Crossbar System (Optional)
The stand-alone ceiling crossbar slides forward or back for perfect placement and can accommodate overhead launch monitors, projectors, and lighting.
Pipe Framing Kit (Optional)
Add the pre-cut and labeled Pipe Framing Kit for a truly plug-and-play build, or source 2-inch EMT locally using the provided cut list.
Back Cover Kit (Optional)
Add the Back Cover Kit to block ambient light from the rear side of the enclosure and to create a more finished enclosure appearance that conceals the rear pipe framing.
Safety Baffles (Optional)
Positioned across the width of your simulator enclosure on the ceiling, Safety Baffles hang downward to catch and deflect high-angle shots that may bounce off the impact screen.
Included with Your Purchase:
Please Note:
Your Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit does not come with pipe framing. If you do not purchase the
Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kit, you will need to source 2-inch EMT (electrical metal tubing) pipes locally to complete the frame assembly.
Pipe Framing Kit
The Pipe Framing Kit is an essential accessory should you wish to have a hassle-free setup. Although this kit is optional, the pipes to built your enclosure frame are not. The kit includes pre-cut and labeled
2-inch EMT pipes that exactly meet the lengths required for the Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit. Should you not purchase this kit,
you will have to purchase 2-inch EMT pipes from your local hardware store to complete the assembly of your Pro Enclosure.
Safety Baffles
Safety Baffles protect the ceiling of your simulator enclosure while hitting higher shots. They are positioned across the width of your simulator enclosure on the ceiling and hang downward to catch and deflect high-angle shots that may bounce off the impact screen.
Back Cover Kit & Back Cover Pipe Kit
The Back Cover Kit
blocks ambient light from the rear side of the enclosure to ensure that you will achieve the highest image quality possible. Additionally, the Back Cover Kit provides your simulator enclosure with a polished appearance so none of the rear framing is exposed. Add the Back Cover Pipe Kit so you do not have to purchase pipe framing from your local hardware store.
Movable Ceiling Crossbar
Designed as a stand-alone component, this versatile crossbar system allows you to easily adjust its position during installation. Whether you’re mounting an overhead launch monitor, projector, or lighting, the crossbar allows for perfect positioning.
Please Note: While purchasing the Pipe Framing Kit, Safety Baffles, Back Cover Kit, Back Cover Pipe Kit, or Movable Ceiling Crossbar, be sure to choose the size that corresponds with your enclosure size.
*Safety Baffles and Movable Ceiling Crossbar should match the width of your enclosure.

Q: How far away should I hit from my impact screen?
A: For the safety of both the golfer and the impact screen, we recommend placing the center of your hitting area a minimum of 10-12 feet away from the impact screen.
Q: Can I iron or steam a golf impact screen?
A: We do not recommend ironing your impact screen, as it's easy to damage the material. To avoid wrinkles, unpack your impact screen immediately upon arrival and fold it loosely if you need to store it. Most wrinkles will smooth out naturally when the impact screen is mounted with tension using zip ties. If needed, you can carefully use a consumer-grade steamer with distilled water to help remove wrinkles.
Q: Are there safety concerns when using a golf simulator?
A: Safety is a priority with any indoor golf setup. Follow the assembly manual provided with your enclosure, keep children, pets, and spectators out of swing range, and protect nearby walls, ceilings, and windows.
Q: Do I need to use a golf hitting mat?
A: Yes, a golf hitting mat provides a cushioned surface to protect your joints and allows for more realistic practice. When choosing a mat size, consider your stance and whether you need space for both right-handed and left-handed golfers.
Q: What is the difference between Carl's Enclosure Kits?
A:
The Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit offers premium materials, larger sizes, and extra safety features, ideal for commercial setups.
Carl’s DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit is a simple, budget-friendly option to create a golf simulator space. The Curved Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit adds an immersive curved impact screen for a panoramic playing experience.
Q: What if the black enclosure surround material gets hit with a golf ball?
A: The enclosure surround material is not designed for direct impacts, however golf balls rebounding off the impact screen and contacting the enclosure surround should not cause issues. Thankfully, Carl's BlackStop™ material that is featured on the Pro Enclosure is their most durable.
Q: Can I get a replacement impact screen for the enclosure?
A: Yes, contact
sales@indoorgolfoutlet.com for replacement impact screens.
Q: How much buffer space do I need around my enclosure?
A: We recommend allowing for 6-7 inches of ceiling buffer space to make installation easier. For width, subtract 4-6 inches from your available space to allow 2-3 inches of clearance on each side. Additionally, allow for a minimum of 9.5" behind the enclosure for the rear fitting.

Q: What pipes do I need to construct the enclosure kit frame?
A: Pro Enclosures use 2-inch EMT
(True O.D. 2.197" / 55.8 mm). You can add a Pipe Framing Kit to your order for pre-cut, labeled pipes or source EMT locally.
Q: How long does it take to assemble the enclosure?
A: Assembly can take as little as 2 hours. We recommend having 2-3 people, especially for larger enclosure sizes.
For guidance, refer to our assembly video and manual.
Q: What are EMT pipes?
A:
EMT stands for Electrical Metal Tubing (also called Electrical Metal Conduit). These metal pipes form the frame of your enclosure. Be sure to use EMT, not PVC, which is incompatible with the Pro Enclosure fittings.
Q: Where and how should I mount my projector?
A:
Projector placement depends on your viewable screen dimensions and the throw ratio of your projector. Feel free to reach out to our team so we can provide you with the exact mounting location based upon the enclosure size and projector that you choose. Common mounting options include flush or drop mounts and floor mounts.

EMT Requirements:
Unless you have purchased the Pipe Framing Kit accessory, you will need to purchase 2-inch EMT (electrical metal tubing) from your local hardware store to complete your frame. Please note, 2-inch EMT is the US trade name of the material, however the true outer diameter is 2.197" or 55.8 mm.
