The Big Moss Pure Flight MAX Hitting Mat gives you the best of both worlds: an upgraded premium stance mat with excellent footing and maximum durability, plus a Pure Flight hitting area built right in. Big Moss says pairing its stance mat with Pure Flight delivers the best impact simulation of any hitting mat on the market, and the MAX puts it all in one ready-to-hit mat for your golf simulator or practice space.
Every strike feels like hitting off a real fairway. The ball sits up slightly on the turf so you can deliver the club from any angle, and the turf fibers absorb the impact instead of relying on the foam base underneath. Your club works down into the surface with a natural, divot-like release, the ball doesn't climb up the clubface, and you get the most realistic flight feedback on your launch monitor, all with less stress on your wrists and joints.
The stance area is made for real practice too. Ball striking off the stance turf is excellent, so you can work on tight lies and wedge shots without being stuck on one surface. The stance mat is a closer color match to the Pure Flight area and blends nicely with Big Moss Commander series turf for a clean, finished simulator floor, and it is made in the USA from all-nylon turf.
What's Included:
Built-In Pure Flight Hitting Area
A 12" x 30" Pure Flight hitting area is built right into the 5' x 5' premium stance mat, giving you Pure Flight's realistic club release in one complete mat.
Upgraded Premium Stance Mat
The upgraded stance mat delivers excellent footing and maximum durability, and Big Moss rates this kit even more durable than its original True Launch mats.
Great Ball Striking Off the Stance Area
Ball striking on the stance turf is excellent too, so you can practice tight-lie shots and wedge work without being stuck hitting off one surface.
Fiber-Driven Impact Compression
The Pure Flight turf fibers provide the impact compression rather than relying on the secondary foam base, for a far more natural impact reaction and feel.
Ball Sits Up Like a Real Fairway
The ball rests slightly up on the turf, so you can deliver the club to it at various angles, just like off real grass.
Descending Strike and Divot-Like Release
Allows the most descending impact and divot simulation, and the ball does not climb up the clubface the way it does on other mats.
Clean Club Response
The club does not bounce off the mat or slow down and grab on ideal strikes.
Realistic Launch Monitor Ball Flight
Ball flight on the launch monitor is highly variable, so you can adjust your swing and hit every ball flight shape with ease.
Easy on Wrists and Joints
A high-impact, shock-absorbent foundation handles full swings while staying easy on your wrists and joints.
Built for Every Swing Type
Players who clip the ball level through the bottom of the swing benefit, and players who strike down on the ball get a true descending-strike feel.
Color Matched for a Finished Look
The stance mat is a closer color match to the Pure Flight area and pairs well with Big Moss Commander series turf.
No Tee Holes
A clean hitting surface with no pre-cut tee holes.
100% Nylon, Made in the USA
Premium 100% nylon turf manufactured in the USA.
Included with your purchase:
Q: What makes the Pure Flight MAX different from a standard hitting mat?
A: The built-in Pure Flight hitting area uses its turf fibers, not the foam base, to create impact compression, so the club works into the surface with a natural divot-like release and the ball does not climb up the clubface.
Q: How big is the mat and the hitting area?
A: The stance mat measures 5' x 5' with a built-in 12" x 30" Pure Flight hitting area, and the kit is 1.325" thick.
Q: Can I hit shots off the stance area too?
A: Yes. Ball striking on the stance area is excellent, which makes it great for tight-lie shots and wedge work when you want to practice off more than one surface.
Q: Does it work with a launch monitor?
A: Yes. Ball flight on the launch monitor is realistic and highly variable, so your full swings, chips, and pitches give you true flight feedback.
Q: Is it easy on my joints?
A: Yes. The shock-absorbent, high-impact foundation is easy on your wrists and joints while still standing up to full swings.
Q: Will it match my simulator turf?
A: The stance mat is a closer color match to the Pure Flight area and pairs well with Big Moss Commander series turf.
