The Impact Sports Tripod Projector Stand puts a golf simulator projector exactly where you need it without drilling into the ceiling or building a shelf. It arrives with a 360-degree rotation gimbal head, a triangular steel mounting plate and three hand tightening screws, so a compatible projector goes from the box to a squared-up image in minutes.
The center column and legs lock at four heights between 18.1" and 45.3", and the gimbal head lets you pan, tilt and level the projector once it is up. A bubble level is set into the tripod head so you can get the base flat before you start aiming, and every adjustment turns by hand rather than by tool.
Used with the triangular steel plate, the stand is designed for the Optoma UHZ35ST, GT2000HDR and ZW350ST short throw projectors. Remove the gimbal and the standard 1/4" (6 mm) thread takes most other projectors, cameras and webcams, so the stand keeps working if you change projectors later.

Fitted with the triangular steel plate, the stand is designed for three Optoma short throw models, the UHZ35ST, the GT2000HDR and the ZW350ST, with three hand tightening screws passing through the plate into the projector's own mounting points.
Four Locking Height Positions
The center column and legs lock at 18.1", 26.4", 33.9" and 45.3", covering floor level placement behind the hitting mat through to a raised position that clears a mat, launch monitor or other gear sitting in the projector's path.
360-Degree Rotation Gimbal
The gimbal head pans a full 360 degrees and tilts up, down, left and right, so you can square the image on your impact screen without shimming the projector.
Bubble Level and Hand-Tightened Hardware
A bubble level is set into the tripod head so you can get the base flat before you start aiming, and the leg clip locks, connector lock knob, bottom knob and up or down motion handle all turn by hand.
Works With or Without the Gimbal
Take the gimbal off and the exposed 1/4" (6 mm) screw accepts most LED, LCD and DLP projectors as well as cameras, webcams, action cameras and ring lights, so the stand stays useful if you change projectors later.
Ready for the Simulator Bay
The stand sits on the floor behind or beside the hitting area, which suits rooms where a permanent ceiling mount is not an option and bays that get packed away between sessions. The legs fold in against the center column and the whole stand carries by its built-in handle grip.

Q: How do I get the picture square on the screen?
A: Set the legs so the bubble level on the tripod head reads flat, then use the 360-degree gimbal to pan and tilt the projector until the image sits square on your impact screen. Position the stand so it stays out of your swing path and out of the ball's line to the screen.
Q: Can I use it for anything other than golf?
A: Yes. With the gimbal removed the 1/4" thread takes most projectors, cameras, webcams, action cameras and ring lights, so the same stand works for home theater, a garage movie night or general photography.
