The ProTee VX Frame Mount allows you to effortlessly mount your ProTee United VX Launch Monitor onto your Carl's Place Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure. Thanks to Carl’s innovative frame mount design, you can easily and securely attach your ProTee VX to the sturdy pipe framework of your Carl's Place Pro Enclosure.
This mount is compatible with any Pro Enclosure measuring at least 111.5" tall and 78" deep. Just keep in mind the height of your hitting surface. For instance, if you're using a 2-inch mat, ensure your Pro enclosure is at least 113.5" tall for proper clearance.
Please Note: This product is only designed to be used with the Carl's Place Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure which uses 2-inch EMT piping. This product is not compatible with the Carl's Place DIY Enclosure.
Simple Installation
Attaching the ProTee VX and its mount to the frame mount, then to the enclosure frame, is a straightforward process requiring only a set of hex keys.
Decreases VX Height by 3.5"
To adhere to ProTee's recommended mounting range (between 108-120 inches), it's advisable to utilize this mount on Pro Enclosures taller than 111.5 inches. However, it's crucial to consider your hitting mat's thickness. If your hitting area isn't recessed into the floor, that height will be compromised. For example, with a 2-inch hitting mat, your enclosure should be at least 113.5 inches tall.
Let's do a quick calculation: The Carl's Place 9x12 Pro Enclosure stands at 114 inches tall. Subtracting 3.5 inches for the mount and 2 inches for your hitting mat leaves you with 108.5 inches between the ProTee VX sensors and the ball placement. This measurement is slightly above the minimum recommendation of 108 inches.
